Five candidates stand for spare councillor position
|Online hustings for Sydenham ward|
7pm Thursday 22nd April
Following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh the Sydenham Society has decided to postpone until next week, the Zoom hustings meeting for the post of Sydenham councillor.
The hustings will take the form of a short, spoken introduction by each candidate followed by questions from “the floor”. We expect the whole event to last not much longer than an hour and a half.
This is a hustings for all local people — not just Sydenham Society members.
Voters in Sydenham Ward have four votes in the election to be held on the 6th May — one for the London Mayor, one for their London Assembly member (plus a vote on the London Assembly list under the PR voting system) and one for a local councillor.
Full local council elections will be held next year.
Enter the numbers below into Zoom (select “Join”) before 7pm on the 22nd April and wait to be allowed into the meeting.
