The Grow It Day at Grow Mayow includes master gardener’s advice, capital growth information, school gardening advice and a workshop on Growing in Small Spaces. There will also be kid’s activities, refreshments and a raffle. Buy from the plant stall or bring a plant to swap.
The workshops will including Funding a Community Garden at 12.30pm and 2pm.

Grow Mayow are also now taking bookings for a 2 day course in Forest Gardening which takes place on Saturday June 25 and Sunday June 26 from 10am-3pm. The course will explain the principles of managing a forest through a series of practical steps combining theory and practical exercises. There will be opportunities to practise perennial plant design and learn about implementing and maintaining your site. The course will also cover the history of forest gardening and its connection with permaculture.
