Albion Millennium Green is a small open space which runs between the end of Albion Villas Road and the railway line between Forest Hill and Sydenham.
Jojn the Friends of Albion Millennium Green for a workday on Saturday 12 October preparing the ground for some fruit tree planting as well as some more mundane tasks.
There will be two sessions: 10.30am-12.30pm and 1pm-3pm.
The Friends intend to tackle: preparation of the ground for fruit tree planting; clearing nettles; grass and weed clearing from the paths; privet hedge pruning and tidying; tidying the railway path; completing planting of wild plants from Chelsea Flower Show.
Please bring your own gloves and tools if you don’t mind. Gloves, secateurs, forks (large and small) and spade will come in handy, plus the inevitable sturdy, stout or scruffy footwear!
