We are delighted to welcome Concrete Youth and their Sensory Storybook theatre sessions to Sydenham Library.
Surrounded by the library’s books, Concrete Youth’s award-winning multi-sensory specialists will deliver an original sensory story for a group of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD):
“Sensory Storybook seamlessly integrates original sensory narratives with immersive crafts, offering an unparalleled experience that transcends the ordinary. Our visionary Education & Engagement team unveils original sensory stories tailored to captivate and stimulate participants, fostering meaningful connections and sparking joy in every heart.
“Following each enchanting sensory story, participants are invited to unleash their creativity with a hands-on sensory craft session. From tactile masterpieces to visually stunning creations, our crafts complement and extend the sensory experience, allowing participants to express themselves and take home a tangible memento of their journey through imagination.”
You can book tickets directly from Eventbrite.
Please note: tickets are free but spaces are limited, and tickets are only available to individuals labelled with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Carers do not need a ticket.
Sydenham Library is fully wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact the library directly: contact@sydenhamlibrary.co.uk or 020 8778 1753.
