Ask a question at a council meeting

Anyone who lives, works or studies in Lewisham can make an enquiry or raise an issue at a full Council meeting by asking a public question. If there is an issue you want the Council to look at, or an area where you believe we can make improvements, a public question is a good way to bring it to the Council’s attention.

Your question may lead to an investigation or review of the issue you raise and could be relevant to other residents affected by the same issue.

Reporting fly-tipping

You can report any fly-tipping or street cleaning issues through the Love Clean Streets website or app, available to download from Apple or Google Play.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, take a quick photo at the scene on your phone and send it via the app. The waste is normally cleared within 48 hours.

Find out how you can reduce fly-tipping in the borough and help create a Cleaner Lewisham.

Covid-19

NHS Advice

COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus.

The main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are a high temperature and a new, continuous cough. Everyone must stay at home to help stop coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading. Wash your hands with soap and water often to reduce the risk of infection. You can usually treat mild coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms at home. If your symptoms are severe, you may need medical care until you recover.

Find out more on the NHS Website.

Government advice

Stay at home

  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
  • If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home

Do not meet others, even friends or family. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
