Sign the petition to save Kirkdale Learning Centre from closure

Lewisham Council is reviewing its provision of adult education following a reduction in central government funding. To save money, the Council are proposing closure of the popular Kirkdale Learning Centre at the end of the summer term. The consultation period runs until May 20th and a special meeting for residents of Sydenham and Perry Vale wards has been arranged for Thursday April 7th at 7pm at the Naborhood Centre, Sydenham Road.

The users of the centre are urging LBL to look at ways of sharing the premises with a local school, so that vital core classes can continue. Sign the petition at:
