Free home insulation offer for Lewisham residents

Lewisham residents can take advantage of a special offer and get free, or heavily discounted, loft and cavity wall insulation for their home this winter.
The offer comes from a new Insulation Partnership between Lewisham Council and Saving Energy Ltd.

The offer is open to everyone in the borough, regardless of their current energy supplier, financial situation, whether they own or rent their property
or what size it is.

Houses with cavity walls can be insulated for free, as can completely un-insulated lofts. Regardless of the size of the property people can take advantage
of the offer at free or very low rates, which have been subsidised through the Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) for energy companies*.

Lewisham residents can sign up for the scheme by calling the Saving Energy Ltd freephone number on 0800 954 9689. A free survey will identify whether their
home needs loft or cavity wall insulation, and people can then decide if they want to proceed with the works or not.

An effectively insulated home can help cut fuel bills and bring down the environmental footprint of residents and the borough overall.

Saving Energy Ltd is the only company Lewisham Council is working with. Staff will be wearing Saving Energy Ltd identification and branded
clothing, and carrying a letter from the Council confirming they are from Saving Energy Ltd working on behalf of the Lewisham Insulation Partnership.
