Robert Cohen made his concerto debut at the age of twelve at the Royal Festival Hall London and began a distinguished international career. He has been hailed as one of the foremost cellists of our time. Robert has performed concertos with leading orchestras world-wide under conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Antal Dorati, Riccardo Muti and Sir Simon Rattle.
He has also collaborated to play chamber music with many notable musicians including Yehudi Menuhin, the Amadeus String Quartet, the Fine Arts Quartet and Krystian Zimerman.
Now Robert returns to launch the 2013 concert series together with the pianist Elizabeth Burley.
