Sydenham Market
Great, when’s the next one? That was the universal reaction of traders and locals alike to Sydenham’s new street market, sited for the first time on the newly refurbished Venner Square. April’s market offered a range of produce from recycled furniture and fresh pizza to Chilean street food. Business was brisk as traders rushed to book their pitches for future markets which will now be staged regularly on the last Sunday of each month.
The plan is to group the majority of stalls on the newly refurbished pocket square – with more market stalls to be added on Sydenham Station Approach when it becomes available later in the year after renovation work. The market gives savvy locals an opportunity to connect with the prolific street food scene, and local makers, food producers and independents the opportunity to present
their wares. The 20 colourful stalls are owned by SEE3. If you’d like to hire the stalls for an event please contact info@see3.co.uk
