Forest Hill School students received their highest ever set of GCSE results in both attainment and progress with 33% of all grades awarded being the highest (7-9) grades, which is significantly above the national average.
Meanwhile Sydenham School achieved their best GCSE results ever including a Progress 8 score of over 0.76 and an Attainment 8 score of 55.57.
At A Level, both schools maintained the trend of large numbers of students gaining places at top Russell Group universities and other prestigious institutions of their choice such as Camberwell Art College plus a number of students who have gained places at Oxford and Cambridge.
Sydenham High School girls also achieved outstanding results. At A level, 62% of pupils received A* or A grades and 86% A-B grades. At GCSE, 57% of grades 9/8 (A) and over three-quarters of grades achieving a 9-7 (A*/A) – an even more commendable achievement.
Huge congratulations to all pupils!
