Livesey Quarter Development at Bell Green
A new proposed housing development (the Livesey Quarter development) consisting of 140 new homes is being proposed by Barratt Homes. The scheme hopes to create a new community in the heart of Lower Sydenham and is located between Perry Hill, Selworthy Road and Alan Pegg Place, adjacent to the gasworks, and to the rear of the historic Livesey Memorial Hall. The aim is to create key pedestrian connections to surrounding green spaces and revitalised community assets through newly landscaped public realm.
Community engagement is at the heart of this project, and the project team intend to work closely with members of the local community to co-create a vision for the future of Livesey Memorial Hall. The developer is inviting locals to apply to join the Livesey Design Group (LDG). The LDG are a demographically representative group of locals who will take part in two workshops to help shape the future of Livesey Memorial Hall and Bowling Green. LDG members will be paid for their participation in the workshops. The workshops will be held at the Livesey Memorial Hall on the following dates:
- Wednesday 4th January 2023, 18:00-20:00
- Thursday 5th January, 18:00-20:00
If you would like to apply to be involved, then please contact liveseyquarter@engagecf.co.uk with the following information:
