Livesey Quarter Development at Bell Green

A new proposed housing development (the Livesey Quarter development) consisting of 140 new homes is being proposed by Barratt Homes. The scheme hopes to create a new community in the heart of Lower Sydenham and is located between Perry Hill, Selworthy Road and Alan Pegg Place, adjacent to the previous gasworks, and to the rear of the historic Livesey Memorial Hall. The aim is to create key pedestrian connections to surrounding green spaces and revitalised community assets through newly landscaped public realm.

Community engagement is at the heart of this project, and the project team intend to work closely with members of the local community to co-create a vision for the future of Livesey Memorial Hall.
