The Ageing Well in Lewisham project was established in 1999 to increase the quality of life of vulnerable older people in Lewisham, regardless of faith or culture, especially those isolated due to physical or cognitive challenges. Our programmes reduce isolation and enhance the mental and physical well-being of service users through activities that encourage social interaction, mobility, and creativity.
For over a decade, Ageing Well has run three social/activity groups for people aged 60+ at The Grove Community Centre in Jews Walk in Sydenham. We welcome new joiners. Come and try out one of our welcoming, friendly groups. There is no need to book, and your first visit is free.
