Fancy going out for a curry or Sunday lunch? Why not try St Christopher’s Hospice?
St Christopher’s Hospice is offering Sunday lunch and a curry night as part of an interesting and diverse social programme for 2011.
The idea is to bring hospice users and the local community together to show that St Christopher’s is about community and sharing good times together. Visitor who have attended the monthly St Christopher concerts will attest to the brilliant food served in the beautiful Anniversary Centre cafe with opens onto the Hospice’s attractive garden.
Curry night runs every Tuesday evening 7-9pm when you can enjoy a good curry for a reasonable price with a range of activities such as photography and storytelling thrown in. Sunday lunch is from 12-2.30pm – enjoy a three-course lunch with live music for just £7.50 per head.
Other social events are:
- St Christopher’s Community Choir – no auditions, just informal singing to allow you to switch off from the stresses of life and have some fun.
- St Christopher’s Quilting Group – tackle a brand new skill and learn the art of quilting – an ancient activity which focuses on having fun, remembering and creating a legacy.
