Forest Hill Pools Topping Out Ceremony

Work to redevelop Forest Hill Pools is well underway and on target for completion in September 2012. The new facility will incorporate the former Victorian frontage, and will feature two swimming pools, a café and seating area, a health and fitness suite, two studios, a community room and exhibition space.

On Friday October 28, the topping out ceremony for the building was conducted by Mark Tant (MD Wilmott Dixon Construction), Steve Bulllock (Mayor of Lewisham). Chris Best (Cabinet Member for Community Services, LBL) and Ivan Parkinson (Finance Director of Fusion Lifestyle – the charity which runs LBL’s pools and leisure centres).
