Wells Park Bat Walk – plus the Three Parks Walk
Fri 7 June, 8.45pm. There will be a bat walk this evening in Wells Park, meeting at the pond area. Fingers crossed that the splendid weather holds up! Another date for the diary is Sunday 23 June, for the Three Parks Walk. Meeting at Sydenham Wells Park at 10.45am for an 11am start (gathering by the Wells Park Road gate next to the maintenance yard) we will tour Wells Park and then walk down Kirkdale, along Sydenham Park and cross the railway bridge turning right into Mayow Park where we will have a snack or picnic at 12.30pm. We will tour the park for an hour and leave at 1.30pm for a tour of Home Park starting at 2pm. The Chairs of the local parks groups – Monika Mitchell, Alona Sheridan and Anthony Scully – hope that you can join them for all or part of what promises to be a very special day.
