Wanted: panel members to help decide grants for Crystal Palace
Wanted: panel members to help with grants for Crystal Palace
Over the next three years, the Crystal Palace Park Community Project Fund has £240,000 to distribute to local community groups in grants from £100 up to a maximum of £20,000.
This money will be used to deliver projects which will improve the park and the park user experience.
London Borough of Bromley is looking for panellists to review grant applications and recommend projects for funding. They hope to appoint eight panellists with experience in reviewing grant applications, awarding money, or other transferable skills, and particularly for people with expertise in one of the following areas:
Education and Learning / Events / The Arts / The Environment / Sport / Social Participation / Heritage
This is an opportunity to get involved in the development of Crystal Palace Park, and to support the park community as a grant panel member. The panel is expected to meet three times a year for the equivalent of half a day, which may be daytime or evenings depending on the availability of panel members.
Please submit an expression of interest by sending a short covering letter with your CV, or a brief outline of relevant experience, to: elaine.harrison@bromley.gov.uk by Friday 21March 2015.
If you would like to discuss this opportunity informally, please email in the first instance with your contact details and an officer from the council will call you at your convenience.
