Torrin performed as String Category Finalist in BBC Young Musician of the Year 2018. He made his debut recital at the Wigmore Hall, London in 2017.

At the age of 13 he was winner of the Concerto Class in the Croydon Music Festival where he performed the Vivaldi Guitar Concerto RV93 in D with string quartet, having been awarded the West Sussex Guitar Festival Bursary the year before. Since 2015, he has been leader of the National Youth Guitar Ensemble.
