Sydenham Community Hub – “Jill”, 27 Sydenham Road
Jill will be launching with a showcase and sale of art and crafts by local artists & artisans from the Sydenham Visual Arts Trail. PLUS:
- 11am-1pm An appearance by Lisa Comfort of Kirsty’s Homemade Home fame and author of Sew Over It. Lisa will be running a children’s crafting workshop making Christmas decorations.
- 1pm Official opening of Jill by Sir Steve Bullock, Lewisham Mayor, followed by a performance from local surrealist poet Ronnie McGrath.
Conquer’s Wardrobe Pop Up Shop, by Conquer Gear – Unit 4, Station Approach, Sydenham

Pen & Gravy/Modernish Collaboration Pop Up Shop – 161 Kirkdale
The launch of this fantastic pop up shop with contemporary ceramics, prints, lampshades – and much more! To see some of their inspirations, go to:

All willing participants will be entered into a prize draw which will take place on Christmas Eve. Prizes will include lampshades, ceramics and screenprints. There will also be live window drawings from Pen & Gravy’s Jamie Palmer and an opportunity to customise your own mug with ceramic markers. Music, food & drinks starting early afternoon.

The Butchery Ltd Pop Up Shop – 49 London Road Forest Hill
All those who have visited the Forest Hill Food Fair will have encountered The Butchery. From this Saturday they will be running Forest Hill’s first pop up shop, with a fantastic range that includes Mangalitza pork from Chipping Norton, native breed Old Spot pork from HMP Hewel Prison Farm, Llanwenog lamb from the Forest of Dean, 45-day dry-aged Dexter beef from champion breeder Michael Bancroft, plus poultry including free-range chickens, ducks, wild pheasant, rabbit and mallards. There will be an opening special offer of dry-aged native breed beef mince at 6.95/kg, and in the afternoon home-made Krupnik (Polish Honey Christmas Vodka) to warm visitors up. In the morning Laura of Paura’s Pantry will be on hand with chutney and jam samples. Franklins from Lordship Lane will be collaborating with The Butchery to provide fresh fruit and veg throughout December.
