Sydenham Community Library piazza – a public consultation

Midday-5pm, Saturday 15 March at the Library 210 Sydenham Road SE26 5SE and at Bellingham Assembly on 27 March

A new pocket park, the ‘Sydenham Literary Piazza’, is being planned for the space outside Sydenham Community Library.

There will be a public consultation event on the design which is to be built at the entrance to Home Park .

The new space is intended to make the park safer and more welcoming and to provide outside space for library and community activities.   You are invited to view the draft plans, meet the design team, and leave your comments and suggestions from 12 -5 pm Saturday 15th March at Sydenham Community Library, 210 Sydenham Road, London SE26 5SE.

Paper copies of the draft plans will be posted in the library and at local schools and will be on display in the library from next Saturday, 15th March until 22nd March.

Not free on Saturday? There will be a further consultation event at Bellingham Assembly, 27th March, 7 – 9pm, at Watergate School, Lushington Road, Belllingham, London SE6 3WG
