Lewisham council supports local businesses

100 apprentices to be recruited in 100 days

With the coronavirus crisis hitting the economy hard, Lewisham has committed to expanding its apprenticeship programme to provide opportunities for residents.  To demonstrate our commitment to this we recently approved £510,000 of funding for up to 60 new apprentices paid the London Living Wage. With this week marking the half way point Lewisham council are on track with commitment to advertise 100 apprenticeships in 100 days.
